A useful local connection.

Who maintains the Hub

HR Military Hub is maintained by Robbe Addis. Our editorial team checks official organizer information and reviews community submissions and corrections.

How listings are selected

We check official sources for the organizer, dates, military relevance, eligibility, and the next step. Unresolved information stays in review. Events cover the next three months and leave current results when they end. A source check is not a guarantee that an organizer has made no later changes.

Open to everyone

Browse listings, follow organizer links, and submit opportunities or corrections without an account. Only authorized administrators sign in to manage and approve listings.

Submissions and privacy

Submissions go to a private administrator review queue. We store the title, official URL, details, email, consent, and submission time. Submitter email addresses are not displayed in public listings. Authorized administrators can review them and use them for submission-related follow-up.

External registration sites and map providers have their own privacy practices. This site does not need your service record or military ID documents; do not upload or include them in submissions.

Usage measurement and weekly updates

We count listing views, official website clicks, calendar clicks, shares, and submissions to understand what people find useful. Our built-in action counts do not store visitor profiles or IP addresses. On our public domain, we also use Google Analytics to measure visits, traffic sources, approximate locations and site interactions. Google Analytics uses cookies and processes device and usage information. Google signals and advertising personalization are disabled. We do not send submission text, names or email addresses through our custom analytics events.

You can read the weekly roundup without signing up. Previously submitted email requests and consent remain private.

Images and independence

The Neptune and Norfolk waterfront images are original AI-generated artwork created for HR Military Hub. They represent local landmarks and are not photographs of listed events. HR Military Hub is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Department of Defense or any Hampton Roads city or county government, or the organizations listed.
